A Name Above Every Name by Keith Cook
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11
P - In the name of Jesus there is a Promise. Jesus will be Lord to the glory of God
O - In the name of Jesus there is a present Opportunity. You can bow now and submit your life to Jesus or you will bow later and be condemned to eternity in Hell.
W - In the name of Jesus there is Wonder. Jesus is amazing, highly exalted and above all. And just think, He wants to be your saviour. He wants to spend eternity with you. He is amazing and it is amazing.
E - In the name of Jesus there is a time of Expression. Everyone who wants to live forever with God in Heaven for eternity must confess the name of Jesus, and call on His name to be saved.
R - In the name of Jesus there is a spiritual Reaching out. Jesus on the cross reached out across the generations and offered Himself up as a pure and perfect sacrifice for the sins of mankind. It is not His will that anyone perish without His blood coving their sins and making them clean before Holy God. Every person is offered God's free gift of salvation.
At the Name of Jesus:
1. Demons tremble
2. Devil thwarted
3. Defeated win victory
4. Doomed rescued
5. Downcast lifted up
6. Depressed find hope
His name is above all the names on the earth or above the earth. His name is Jesus.
Daily Prayer Focus: Call on His name, trust in His name, live for His name.
On The Go Prayer Focus: The follow-up of inquirers who come publicly and make decisions for Christ, write in for materials to grow in Christ, or who visit our website looking for help in following Christ. Pray for local believers, churches, parents, and friends who all will be used of God to nurture each and every one to maturity in Christ.
