We are created to WORSHIP

"Then God said, 'Let us make humankind in our image, after our likeness, so they may rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move on the earth." Genesis 1:26 (NET - New English Translation)

"Whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, bring glory to God."  1 Corinthians 10:31

"My mouth will praise the LORD. Let all who live praise his holy name forever!"  Psalms 145:21

"And there will no longer be any curse, and the throne of God and the Lamb will be in the city. His servants will worship him, and they will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. Night will be no more, and they will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, because the Lord God will shine on them, and they will reign forever and ever."  Revelation 22:3-5 (NET)

Our eternal purpose is to worship God now and forever more!

We are here to WITNESS

The only reason why you're still alive and not in Heaven is because you have a mission here on earth:  to be a WITNESS for the saving love of Jesus Christ! Christ hasn't come back and you're not dead because there's still a Great Commission that needs completing and it is His will that You be a part of it!

There will come a day when the entire family of will have the party of all parties praising and worshipping God...but not yet!

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age."  Matthew 28:19-20 (NET)

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the farthest parts of the earth." Acts 1:8   (NET)

"This will be a time for you to serve as witnesses."  Luke 21:13 (NET)

"And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached throughout the whole inhabited earth as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come."  Matthew 24:14  (NET)

"They were singing a new song: "You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals because you were killed, and at the cost of your own blood you have purchased for God persons from every tribe, language, people, and nation."  Revelation 5:9  (NET)

We were created to worship God now and forever. We were born on earth to be His witnesses for the Good News. Love, which is Spirit of God following thru us, is what allows us to do these things! Love God and love others!
