Neighborhood Ambassadors by Keith and Joan Cook

What a great day we had Saturday. God used so many people to help our team bless hundreds of families in one inner city neighborhood. It was such a joy to see so many children delight with their new dolls, games, and toys of all shapes and sizes. It really touched our hearts.
The best part of the outreach is always the families that come out to help us pass out the gifts. We have mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, grandparents, friends and co-workers coming and serving Jesus together. They help for over eight hours, yet they keep a smile on their face as they serve. This year we had well over 100 volunteers helping our team. We needed each and every one. God used everyone. There were many on the spot, at the door, encounters that led to people praying and asking Jesus to be their Savior. Pray for us as we follow-up the decisions. God has given us an open door and we have earned the right to be heard. Jesus is moving in the city. We have been able to become God's ambassadors in the neighborhood.
