“Be Strong and Courageous. Do not be afraid, and do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
News Event: National Day of Prayer for the coronavirus crisis (COVID-19). Please join us today to seek God’s Face, Protection, Strength, and Boldness.
As you wake up this morning, be mindful that President Trump has declared this a National Day Of Prayer. As we pray for our great nation and this coronavirus crisis, we can rest assured that the top leaders of our country are praying for our country and for its citizens also.
Be assured that in the Bible, Joshua tells us to be strong and courageous. He goes on to say the Lord will be with you wherever you go.
So, in these days where the coronavirus seems overwhelming and uncertain, hold on to the hope that Jesus brings- He will be with you through this. He will never leave you.
As we go about our new normal for the next few weeks, turn your focus upward on Jesus knowing that He is still in control and trust Him. Then turn your focus outward so you can see the many needs that others around you might have. But do not turn your focus downward because that is where the enemy wants you to stay- fretting, worrying, fearful, overwhelmed and only looking at the virus and the havoc it can bring.
God is still in control of this world. Be encouraged that as we look upward and outward; we will pray for others, and become strong and courageous knowing that Jesus will be with us through this entire thing. Joshua 1:9
Daily Prayer Focus: Pray for our Nation and our World that Christians will be Bold, Strong, and Courageous. Pray for national, spiritual, and health care leaders as together they work to fight the coronavirus crisis. Pray for a cure, and that God will orchestrate our steps.
