Prayer, The Key To World Evangelization

Prayer, The Key To World Evangelization - by Keith Cook

"Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my groaning. Heed the sound of my cry for help, my King and my God, for to Thee do I pray. In the morning, O Lord, Thou wilt hear my voice; In the morning I will order my prayer to Thee and eagerly watch." Psalm 5:1-3

News Event:  Live Simulcast Evangelism Conference from the USA to Ghana and Togo, Africa is set for August 18-22, 2015. Praise God for the opportunity to minister and serve along side our Brothers and Sisters in Christ.

Our world is in desperate need of a fresh outpouring of God's love and power. Economic quick fixes and political infighting are not the answer. If we want to reach our neighbors or reach around the world, we can do so in prayer.

Prayer opens up God's resources and God's plans for man. Prayer helps us get a fresh and exciting direction from our creator. You may never go to India or China, but you can go there in prayer.

Start with praise to God - Adoration toward God for His majesty
Next confess all known sin - Admission, sorrow, and forsaking your sin.

Begin to thank God - Thank Him for His great and mighty deeds
Intercede for others - Pray for the lost: friends, family, church, etc...

Ask God - Ask the Lord for the desires of your heart.
Wait upon the Lord - Wait for strength, patience, and wisdom.
Search the word - Open the Bible and begin to see God's will.
Listen to Him - Hear God's voice speaking to your heart and mind.

Be ready - Do what God says and go where He leads.
End your prayer time in praise - Praise God for His goodness and presence.

A shorter version of the above outline is: ACTS
Adoration
Confession
Thanksgiving
Supplication
