Wisdom From Above

Wisdom From Above by Keith Cook

"Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy." James 3:13,17

News Event:  On The Go North Africa GoTeam set for Sunday, October 18-Friday, October 23, 2015.
We will be hosting an Evangelism Training Conference teaching evangelists how to share the Good News one on one, ways to minister respectfully to Muslims, how to preach, give an invitation and disciple, prayer in evangelism, sharing the Gospel cross culturally, mentoring and building a team, creative outreach ideas and tools, plus how to bless and care for their family. Please pray for our team members Keith, Zach, Sierra, and Micheal as we serve our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.  Also, pray for each evangelist and their families.

I do not know very many people that would say they do not want to be wise. The wisdom that we as Christians try to obtain is different than the world's wisdom. You see, the Bible tells us exactly how to be wise! It's hard at times to choose wisdom from above when the world's way is easier.

Wisdom From Above can be Characteristics:

Pure
Peaceable
Gentle
Willing to Yield
Full of Mercy
Full of Good Fruits
Without Partiality
Without Hypocrisy

Folly From Below Yields:

Done from wrong motives
Always warring with others
Harsh
Having to have your own way
Merciless
Fruitless
Judging Others
Being something you're not

Everyday we have a choice to make. We can choose the wisdom from above or the folly from below! Let's choose wisdom!

Daily Prayer Focus: Pray for God Given Wisdom to Rule in your heart. Pray for wisdom that is pure, peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, merciful, full of fruit, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

On The Go Prayer Focus: Keith Cook as he directs our North Africa GoTeam.  Please pray for traveling mercies as they fly out this morning.  The team will be ministering in North Africa Monday, October 19 through Thursday, October 22, 2015. Pray for travel mercies, "Divine Appointments," opportunities to minister, encourage, and challenge fellow evangelists, and God's will to be done.

Thank you for taking the time to pray for this important division of On The Go Ministries. For more information on any our ministries here at On The Go, you may send your questions to info@onthego.org.
