God's Mighty Hand at Work in Our Midst by Dr. Ken Mattox, DDS
"He said, 'Bring them here to Me.' Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes. So they all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments that remained." Matthew 14:18-20
It is so amazing to see God's hand at work in the lives of His people. God is still in the miracle working business! Recently a friend of mine shared with me a testimony of God's provisions for his team as they ministered in the Ukraine.
This medical team had taken well over $65,000 worth of medicine and supplies into the Ukraine so that they might minister in local hospitals, orphanages, and communities. In spite of their planning and preparation, they ran out of supplies before they finished all of the hospitals they had intended to serve.
Shortly thereafter, a new stock of drugs appeared in a room with locked doors. These prescription bottles had the same labels, same companies, and same contents as those they had just distributed. Miraculously, they now had more on hand than they had actually started with! The only possible explanation is that a miracle of God had occurred.
"Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need." Hebrews 4:16
Shortly thereafter, 75 doctors and nurses made professions of faith in Christ! These individuals saw God at work first hand, and through this miracle, God softened their hearts so that they would see their need for Him.
Perhaps you have been praying for God to answer some needs in your life. My heart's desire for you today is that you will know that God is still in the miracle working business, He loves you, and He will supply your every need. Take time today to seek His face and His heart.
