Every Link is Necessary

Every Link is Necessary by Laurie McTier

"That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ." 1 John 1:3

As I was retrieving my emails recently, I received one from the Billy Graham Association with the following quote from Dr. Graham:

"Joan of Arc was only one woman, but she saved France. The whole city of Florence was transformed under the preaching of one Roman Catholic priest by the name of Savonarola. Martin Luther was one man, but he nailed some theses on the church door at Wittenberg and altered the course of European history. Today in America, India, Zambia, Chile, there is a man who could turn his nation upside down for Christ, if he went all out. There is a woman whom God could mightily use right now to help Him fill the great spiritual vacuum we see in the world. All it takes is one. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. Every link is necessary. You are a link in God's chain, in God's plan to proclaim the Gospel to the whole world. Are you ready? All you need is God. If you are totally surrendered and totally dedicated, you can say, 'Lord, here's my hand with all I have.' God has a place for you. He can use you."

We are God's tools to reach the lost for Christ. He has enabled, strengthened, and provided us with us with all of the wisdom we need to reach our world. God wants to use you today, though you may never know the lives that He has touched through you, He has a place for you, He can use you, and wants us to remain faithful.

Daily Prayer Focus: Lord, use me today to be a link in your plan to share the Gospel with the nations. Lord, direct every step, give me boldness and the words to say as I seek to tell others about your love for them.
